We decided to raise the boost on my daily driver CFT Turbo S2King Project and this is what happened:

Here's a video from 2 weeks ago running against one of my buddys Ricky's T88 supra, he makes 700-720whp on pump gas and I was making 649whp.

ha ha, I love how almost instantly both cars go from normal speed to insane speed

Tonight I decided to take the car to the track to test the new CFT Stage 3 rear end & this were the results:

1st pass @ 19psi 12.8 @ 124mph with 2.3 on the 60's (As soon as I took off the car went sideways, so I let off)
2nd pass @ 21psi 12.0 @ 128mph with 2.2 on the 60's
3rd pass @ 24psi 11.6 @ 131.85mph with a 2.19 on the 60's

This was babying the car between gears, because the tranny still bone stock! We are working on a dog box gear set, it should be out on the next 6-8 weeks.

The rear has been holding perfect for the last 10 days. I will keep you guys posted, so stay tuned for more....

those 60fts definitely killed the ETs...what was 60ft on the 11.6?

 

2.19 on the 11.6 pass. This is the first RWD car that I've ever driving in my life! I've only made 3 full passes on this car, let me get use to the car & we'll see some 10's for sure!

it's all in how hard do you want to push the drive train 132mph is a 10 second trap speed with the right launch and traction.

 

I know bro, I can't wait to get use to the car...

Like I said before, this is my 1st RWD car that I've ever driving in my life. I just want to get the feeling of the car before I launch the car.

10's should be coming very soon!

Another update 3/21/09:

Went to the track last night, I got there late but had a chance to do 2 passes.

1st 11.6 @ 134mph w/ 2.1 on the 60's
2nd 11.4 @ 133mph w/ 2.08 on the 60's

We are super happy the way the car is running, I'm still getting use to driven a rear wheel drive car. But I'm getting there! Hahahahaha

that thing def. has 10's in it....i would say keep working on the launch because 10's are there

nice! mid 130's should be a low ten second pass. practice makes perfect. 700 wheel should have some serious top end...i can only imagine haha.
