i think its 140 with a short ram. and thats not WHP, just crank HP. It pushes the compression from 9.2 to 10.68. So its like a Y8 with 1 point more compression. it would only be a 12 HP difference lol.

 

your playin with d series man, soon enough you'll learn the way, but go with the minime for now.

 

d series are ftw. U only need a b series built for boost to make serious WHP (450+). Because after around 450WHP it becomes hard to make power with a D series.

get eagle rods for 300 and some vitara pistons (and a z6 block)!!!! Look at my sig, and do that setup with it1

yea i just read the whole thing. dont have the resources to do an engine swap. or really the money. im getting all the parts for my mini me for $100 off a d16z6 that threw a rod bearing in my friends car. so the mini me seems worth it for me right now. till i get down to UTI. then maybe i'll go for some sort of swap

 

if the engine's are relatively close in power and build, the transmission isn't going to be much of a factor, alot of people will say it is, but if you know how to to drive it, it's fine. i hate to sound like a broken record, but i keep up with my friend's 5 speed ex daily, and he's got about 20 horses on me.

 

u can boost on a stock block. U can do 200WHP on most D series. If u think 200 is too much do 180WHP. u will spank GSR's.
