I have an OEM Cassette Deck and the OEM CD Player Add On

Coming from the CD player there is a 6-pin connector that plugs into my harness
the pins are:
White with Blue Tracer
Black
Yellow with Red Tracer
Brown
White
Orange

I already know what the first 3 are (power, ground, accessory) does anyone know what the Brown, White, and Orange wires are for?

My harness has a Brown with Black tracer and Brown with White tracer and Orange with White tracer, but no solid Brown,ornge, or white wires.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Brown is definitely a ground. Forgot about the rest.

yeah, but the oem cassette deck doesnt work

 

The hell? That's the one that was in my car... probably got f'ed during shipping.
It had shipping insurance if you want to go through UPS.

 

yea as soon as you plug it in it makes this horrible noise I looked inside and the cassette loader thing is jammed and the deck won't turn on.

i believe you that it worked when you sent, everything you've sent me before works fine. the box was a little thrashed when i got it, and i shoulda checked it right away, but i was lazy haha. no big deal, i'll look for another one

 

Hehe, yeah sorry that came to me as a surprise.. i always double check before i uninstall stuff/ship it out.
