Honestly, you can't tell that it has that many miles on either unless you look. I got the 'lude engine off of a buddy and he the prelude since it had 52k miles on it. It's had syn blend oil in it since then. When it got swapped over in mine, it had aound 90k or so. I love the car. I really dont wanna get rid of it. I just dont want to sink anymore money into it because I know that I won't get it back out.

 

do you have any interior pics? and when you say u dont want to sink anymore money into it..... what u mean? she's not always breakin down on u is she?

 

I will try and post some interior pics up tonight when I get home. It will be late when I get off work.

Is what I mean by not wanting to sink anymore money in to it is... I bought the car for 3500 bucks. The engine along with the small piddly stuff along with the mounts and axles... yada yada yada cost me roughly 2500. That's 6k in a car that I will never get back out. I'm not going to say anything about breaking down because once i do, she will. All I have done since the swap is routine stuff: change oil, change filers (air and fuel), and stuff like that.

Like I said, it wouldn't hurt me a bit to just keep driving it. It gets killer gas mileage and has enough low end torque for my taste. It's fun as hell to drive.


See if I keep it, I was wanting to take it to the track this spring then I would have to buy:

traction bars
sway bars
VAFC
extra axles...lol
and maybe even a turbo kit

That's just more money than I would sink into it that I'm not going to get back out. I've got the price 4k firm now and that's only 500 more bucks than what I bought the car for.


I apologize that the mileage is a lil high for ya. At least I didn't make up some mileage like people on some forums, and say it's a 45k jdm engine...lol

I put anywhere from 150-200 miles on the car a week and love every minute of it.

 

hey there's no reason to apologize for the high mileage. it's good to see someone that loves their car and loves to drive it. i appreciate your honesty with the miles. your right...... it could have been easy for you to just make up a number but u didnt. that's good.

is there anything wrong with it (like......scratches, dents, chips, nicks, tears, ects.....)?

 

Overall the car needs to be waxed bad. I've wanted to and needed to since I've had, but when i find the time, the weather won't let me. There is the occasionally ding and small dent from like shopping carts and stuff. The bottom side of the front lip is a lil scratched up from clearance issues. Paint is awesome for its age, just needs waxed. The only thing that irritates me is the seats. They are tan. When I bought it from the guy, he didnt mention anything about switching seats and i had already met up with him and test drove and everything before hand before getting the money so i sent a buddy on about a 2 hour drive (one way) to pick it up for me. Well, needless to say he got me for the seats because it did have two black racing style seats in it and a custom console. Now it's just got tan seats and a tan console. I will post pics tonight when i get home. I'm at a college library right now so it won't allow me to do much.
