well last night as i'm prepping to put my b16 in (man i keep running into more and more problems, just to make everything work right) well one of my friends notices that my fuel pressure regulator and throttle cable holder leave no clearence for my intake air temp sensor... i'll take pics if you guys want to see what i'm talking about..... well i just bought a b&M FPR and gauge, and now i just have to find a different fuel rail... well my question is should i get a aftermarket rail like aem/hayame/venom/dc or should i go w/ the itr rail.... i didn't want to have to buy a rail but now i'm forced to. aftermarket rails seem to be in the 100-150$ range and the itr i can get used for about 80-90$ reccommendations please

 

I would think the only need for an aftermarket rail is if your boosting, whether it be turbo, sc, or nos. But i'd go and try to look for a newer b16 one or a gsr one, cuz i'm sure just cuz it came off an itr that people will try to sell it for more!! although they all flow the same!!

 

you need a gsr or the like fuel rail. stock wont work(you know this already) 2nd gen b16 should work too.

 

yup. gsr, any b16a (not the first gen!), & itr will work fine! might need a new throttle cable bracket, not sure though. i used my b16a1 and hammered it, and adjust tb cable. try ebay for the fuel rail, i got a gsr rail for $20.
