Default Wheels Locks

This might be a stupid question, but i've been searching and getting all sorts of information, but nothing concrete.

I want to get wheel locks for my 08 ex stock alloy wheels.

Are aftermarket locks better than oem? What size would I be looking for?

Are acura oem locks better than honda oem locks?

Do oem rsx locks fit a civic 08?

I just ask since i'm trying to get them online and its a pain to pay for return shipping.

Thanks

acura is honda. almost all hondas have the same lug size, newer ones that is. go oem as they have a lot more different keys, as opposed to aftermarket which is the same one.

I'm not sure what you mean by "aftermarket" because when I think that I imagine lock nuts that come with rays lugs or something. I'd go with oem because they have spherical seat as opposed to an angular tapered seat which is not suitable for oem wheels.

Scroll to the bottom of the page. I discovered this after I purchased my locks from the dealer at close to twice the price.

Actually, Honda and Acura do not share wheel locks, they both have different sets.

OEM is a much better option for wheel lock, because like stated above there are 16 different keys (off the top of my head) when compared to the single generic aftermarket brand.

Any OEM Honda/Acura wheel lock will work as long as its not for a Odyssey(Current gen.)/Ridgeline/RL(current)/MDX? (Does the current gen use the larger wheel studs?) So the OEM rsx wheel locks will work, but just remember that you will need to go to acura not honda for a replacement key if lost.
