Default 91 da gs to 89 crx hf

hello honda's lovers friend off my he selling . a da 91 complete motor is blow but the trans is good can use the trans.axles,motor mounts.engine harness, i mean every thing will just fit on a 89 crx hf? what alse i need to buy? please help

Engine mount swap kit, OBD-0 to OBD-1 conversion harness, and ECU (if you don't have that from your friends car).

i have obd0 to 0bd1 conversion kit and yes the ecu will come with the car

i just need to buy crx b series motor mounts thats all?

90/91 is obd0, 92/93 is obd1 so unless you have the 92/93 ecu and the 92/93 dist you wont need the jumper. also the engine harness is not plug and play you use your harness and modify it for mpfi by using the da engine harness.

isn't an hf already mpfi? jus an 8 valve very restrictive intake manifold and stuff or small......

hf's and si's are mpfi (multi-point-fuel-injection) dx's are the only dpfi (dual-point-fuel-injection)

mpfi=4 injectors
dpfi=2 injectors

thus if you had a dx you'd have to wire it so the swap has the wires for the other two injectors needed for that motor. and a few other wiring changes. but since you have an hf you just need mounts and modified shift linkage. no wiring chages needed. and please learn to type and spell correct.

thats exactly what i was thinkin... i mean why would you have to convert the harness unless someone is tryin to rip ya off cause there both still obd0....
