Default Does a B-series engine fit in an accord?

Would like a b16a or b18 fit in a 96 accord lx auto? or would an h22 swap just be best?

Do research.

Then ask.

That's a bit counter-intuative isn't it?
As a performance platform the 5th and later Accords are encumbered with a real "Load in the Pants". They're built for that soft ride, an abundance of cup holders and the obligatory tissue dispenser.
Going with a smaller displacement engine in the Accord would be performance suicide. Not only would your have to spin the ^%&$ like crazy, just to make horsepower, you'd have to mate it to a trans with 6 speeds and geared to let the engine spin.
Some like the H22 (in all it's permitations)
I like the F22.
Now, If I could mate a F22 crankshaft to a H22, THEN I'd be happy.

a B series swap is possible, but not worth it
unless you are trying to be original and cool

scott from collective racing put a k24 in his CB
