Alright, I can't find a similar thread on this...Car wont start...=/
Alright(92 accord lx), so I took my car to my mechanic last week to have the transmission computer replaced, where I spent $700!!
anyways, It drives fine for a day, than the next day, it will not start. It wont even click, turn, nothing. No lights come on, no power windows/lock. Nothing! So, I had a friend jump me off and it started right up. Got home, turned it off, tried to restart, wouldn't start. Seemed like the battery right? Well, I took it and had it tested, WORKS FINE. Put it back in the car, cleaned it up..still nothing. I really don't think it's the starter. Anyone have any other ideas as to what could be causing this? Thanks!
ah, and i guess i should note, not sure if it could be related, but the brake/door lights have been flashing forever! never paid much attention to it. It stopped flashing the day before the car wouldn't start?

Brake light is usually indicative of low brake fluid or bad bulb I'd look into that.
Door light I'm not sure what would cause it other than a bad sensor.
Could be an ignition switch or like main relay.
Are all your fuses good?

yeah, sorry, i should of been more thorough. it is a bad sensor, that i know for sure. i just mentioned it because i noticed it flashing like crazy when i went to get my car from my mechanic(like it usualy does) and the next day it was not flashing at all, which was odd. didn't know if the car not starting and the brake light not flashing as well could be related? do you have any idea how costly it is to fix the ignition switch? I should probably purchase a repair manuel for my car....=/...where are the fuses for the brake light?

The ignition switch portion that breaks is the electrical portion and is ~$40 for the 94-97 Accord from the dealer. It's not too difficult to replace at all. just one of the screws is tough to reach. Usually though the car will try to turn over but fail. If you're not getting anything I'd look through ALL the fuses as a precaution and then if they're good I would rule out a bad alternator by starting the car and looking at the voltage across the battery should be like 14ish or so volts while running.
You have two fuse boxes, one is on the driver's side near the pedals, the other is under the hood. that's assuming the 4th gen is similar to the 5th. Which I'm thinking it is for fuses at least.

When you state that your door light is on on the dash, Is your door closing all the way? Maybe your battery is dying because the door is not closed all the way and the dome light stay's on the entire time. Check connection at starter silenoid and at battery terminals. Does your car have an aftermarket alarm on it?
