Default Dented Header loss or power

Title should say Dented Header = Loss of power?

Ok I have been trying to figure this out. My DB8 is low and the header are jut dented to heck. Now can these prevent me from accelerating properly? I struggle to get in the higher RPM's especially to get VTEC to really work.

I am getting a valve adjustment at the dealer tomorrow so if that makes any difference. The pervious owner of this car didn't really care for it under the hood.

Any ideas what to look at?
