I have a 02 rsx type s and I just installed the blox tps it didnt come with any instructions so i just installed it and calibrated it to .45volts. my vtec works good on first and second but on third gears it does like a little pause and then the vtec activates. and after a while my vtec doesnt activate and at six thousand rpms my car just tops off and like if it was redlining. any help and also my check engine light is on and blinks sometimes. I also put a scanner on my car and got code p1166. I also replaced the a/f sensor that is like and 02 sensor so anybody please help. thanks.

 

why did you buy a blox tps sensor?

 

i bought it because my tps went bad and i went to acura and it cost 700 dollars so i bought the blox tps

 

daym dude, you should try the hybrid/swap part of this forum, i think thats wat it is. im pretty sure they have it covered. or go on K20a.org

seemed like you did everything right, havin it calibrated, iwouldnt no why it would do the other things you mentioned, try rechecking and do some search on other sites

p1166 code? The primary o2 heater circuit code? You check into a new o2? Or check for a heater fuse? not sure if our cars has one, my accord did.
