Oh dear, does Gordon realize that F1 has right turns as well?
Should be interesting

I agree with Chad....That Columbian always finds the wall more then he finds the finish line! #24...that boy can make left and right turns

Gordon has indeed done well in the NASCAR road races. I think he had a pretty long streak of road course wins too.
Me, I hope he kicks *** and takes names. But something tells me the intricacies of an F1 car are a lot more complex than a stock car.

Maybe since Jeff doesn't have anyone waiting at home for him now, he will consider a career move? His WC fortunes have not been great this year and at least he is the right size to be an F1 driver. The technical curve would be steeeep, however. The demo will be interesting, however it goes, but my bet is that JPM fares a little better in the Cup car than Gordon does in the Williams/BMW - relatively speaking...

What they say about F1 vs NASCAR is that f1 cars are made to accelerate, brake, and handle well...and that a NASCAR doesn't want to turn or brake. f1 cars are delicate but in some ways "easier" to drive than a stock car. Think about what's more maneuverable, a car or a shifter kart?
you ever driven a kart or any MR configured vehicle to the limit? ever driven a stock car to the limit? i havent, so i wouldnt be able to offer an opinion on whats easier.

p.s.-yes, i have driven both types of vehicles at the limit.
Jiminy crickets! If driving a shifter cart is considered not physically difficult compared to driving a "stock car".. whoah.. I never want to get into a stock car!
