My winshield looks like a VERY siwrled paint job lots of finite scratches on it. Is there anything i can use to get them out other than a cinderblock through the glass?

 

i use to work at a detail shop.... idk what kinda swirls they are but if there from cleaning the windsheild - find a towel, glass cleaner. spray one side of the towel with glass cleaner (making it damp) so you end up with a dry side and a damp side. spray one half of the windshield and wipe off with damp side then follow up with the dry side and wipe it off so its dry. now you may notice some swirls... i would find a "micro fiber towel" and finish wiping off where you cleaned the window.

if it is scratches in the window you can always buff it.

 

sounds like it may be "sandblasted'' the only fix is a new windshield.

 

yes its little scratches, they arent deep i cant feel them with my hand. I dont really wanna replace the windshield unless i have to

 

if your finger nail catches on the scratch it wont come out with a buffer, so either buy a buffer and some heavy duty compound and TRY buffing it or you gonna half to get new windshield.

 

New windshield time. I do mine every 3-years.

 

Chances are if you attempt to buff it out you'll get some nasty distortion.

You cannot buff scratches out of glass. It will only make it cloudy.
