will a 88-89 transmission fit 90-91
yes it will. but you need to take into account whether you have an 88 or an 89+ transmission. You can tell from the input shaft of the transmission what you have. If the input shaft has 1 machined ring on the end, it is an 89, and will just swap on using the clutch you have now, or a new stock clutch.
If the transmission has no machined ring on the input shaft, then it should have 21 splines instead of 20, and you should use an '88 accord clutch disk with your stock model pressure plate and flywheel.

Its a 88 transmission and its going on my sohc zc(dont know if it matters).I am wondering if I would be better off with the 90-91 transmission? Do you know if there is going to be any operating differince between the two? Thanks for the help.
