Default Fluttering Crx

Ive had this strange problem the entire ive owned my 1990 si crx. When i hit about 75 or 80 USUALLY i start to hear a fluttering sound coming from my cluster or my left climate vent, over in that area. that is of course inside that car...

Like i said usually when im going over 75 and am slamming on the pedal to accelerate. But if i even out at 80-85 and keep a stready speed it goes away. does anyone have any sort of idea? ><

Could be the speedo cable.
Or just something vibrating like the cluster housing.
... or maybe it's the 80mph ghost!!! 0_o

usually if there is shacking just under acceleration it is your CV axle...that was a prob i was just having...does it shake like that when you get on the gas all the time?

1. no its not from under my car 100%
2. its mostly when im accelerating past 70 and up but if i level out and keep a steady 80 mph ot 85 then the sound stops.

It doesn't have to be from " under " the car... these probs can shake your entire car...check axles for play/check ball joint boot for rips/and tie rob end boots...your prob is most likely suspention related my friend

Unless I don't get what u mean by fluttering? Is it just a noise or vibration? A vibration could be causing the noise

It's probably either the speedo cable or something stuck/loose in the leftmost vent. Do you have the vent switched to the HVAC system or to fresh air?
