Default Strang power lagging.. H22a

I've been reading this site for over a year but this is my first post. Anyways I have a JDM h22a that i had to put in cause my h22a4 blew up(beware of obx cams). I have a skunk2 pro series manifold, MSD external coil, I/H/E, and a homemade heat shield. I tune-up my car religiously. I have a CEL for barometric sensor on manifold and EGR. my car for some reason super lags between 2500 and 3000rpms then picks up fine after 3000. but it also seems to accelerate better when i barely touch the gas than when i give it alot with the exception of full throttle. and on top of that I only ran a 15.1@95mph isn't that stock times??
Any ideas whats going on???

the baro sensor is in the computer, if that has failed, your fuel curves will be off, and that would cause power issues. The EGR however, would cause your 2500-3000 hesitation.

95mph trap speed is slightly higher than stock. In my 4th(h22a, intake, header, chipped ECU) the highest i've finished the 1/4 is 94mph.
And if your still on the stock ECU....that sounds about right.

Are you using the OBD2 distributor?
My JDM distributor started to fail, with the 2500-3k hesitation, then one day just completely stopped working and the car wouldn't start until i changed the distributor with a working one.

yes my distributor is still obd2. is there any way to test if it's going bad or just wait til it gives out? and if the baro sensor is in the computer, how do I fix it?? new ECU??
