can a main relay on my accord cause it from not starting?????my accord won't start? it cranks but won't start?...the check engine light is on but when i try to use the blue jump connetor to see if the cel will frash and it does not flash at all its jus a soild light????when i turn the key on i hear a weird buzzzing under the driver side dash?????CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please

 

I had a buzzing under the dash when i tried to start my 91 Civic Hatch. It was always worse in the summer. It was the main relay. Every once in a while it would not start, it would just buzz. Replaced it with a 95 civic main relay from the junk yard.

I believe your main relay is under the dash on the drivers side right above the hood latch level device to open your hood. It is a light brown colored bow with a connection in the middle with many wires going to it. Sometimes you can hit it while you are cranking the car and it will start. If you can, test your car for fuel at the rail and spark at the plug.

 

i checked the car for spark and no spark????wat can that be?????
