After shutting car off, weird noise from A/C??
during last summer i got my A/C recharged and it worked fine until recently i've been using the A/C during this hot *** winter and it doesn't seem to blow nearly as cold as it used to. i've taken a quick glance under the hood and i do notice it looks "moist" on the A/C hose right where the (radiator-support?) bracket grasps the hose to hold it in place. (a few inches to the right of the LOW-side valve i think)
also, after about 20-30 minutes of driving while using the A/C, then shutting the car off, i can hear this sort of "percolating" sound for a few seconds then it slowly dies out and stops..
anyone ever experience this??
i am suspecting a leak because of the moisture on the hose, but the sound i hear after shut off concerns me..

take it back to the shop that recharged it, or another shop that specializes in auto A/C work and see what they think about it.
Damn where are you living with a hot *** winter? Most places are having a super-duper cold-*** winter right now haha

i'm in cali about 45 minutes north of L.A. and as of right now its breezy and warm.. the last few days have been hot as hell! definitely not typical weather for this area this time of year. its actually a little scary to be honest.
anyhow yeah i just might have to wait until i have money to have a pro look it at.. the guy who recharged it last was just some mechanic guy working at a local Arco gas station.. he'll probably just tell me whatever to get more money from me.
man, i wish i knew how to do A/C work. it looks easy!
