okay my buddy has a 02 rsx. to make a long story short he blew up the motor and swaped in a 04 tsx k24. he has a accord ecu. my question is is the frequency for the imobilizer different between the tsx and accord ecu's? the problem is his car won't start, he took it to the dealer and they said they couldn't get it to work. please any feedback would be appreciated. thanks!

 

also to add if no one knows the answer to my question was wondering if there is a way to bypass the imobilizer completly

ok man look... lots of people with same problems..... EVERYTHING MUST MATCH UP TO WORK

ecu must match immobilizer which must match key. Only way around is to have it reset by a dealership or get k-pro and turn it off.

 

get k-pro for his rsx ecu. no need to swap ecu's.

dealerships don't like dealing with aftermarket parts or swaps at all. My honda dealership never believes me that the honda parts i order for my acura will work.
