I'm in the market for an RSX-S, and I found a good deal on one but it has cloth interior. I wasn't sure that the type S came with cloth interior. Can anybody clarify? I've been a generation 3 integra owner for about 4 years now and I'm making the transition.

 

hmmm I thought only base models had cloth but if you order a car brand new you can usually pick all the options you want. So maybe the original purchaser either didn't want leather or cheaped out.

 

never seen a type-s with cloth... you better make sure its really a type-s

I personally like cloth better so if it is a Type-S that'd be a plus for me haha.

 

all type-s' came with leather stock. there was no option to get cloth.

 

could be a theft recovery, or just somebody switched with their buddy before selling the car. like others said cloth has never been an option on the type s.

 

never came with cloth, but i knwo some peopel that have it now because they liked it better.. ide just check the vin and motor and make sure the cars legit

 

yup.. if it is a S then its a swapped interior.. leather is not an option.. its standard

 

well i checked the vin, and unfortunately it's not a Type S.

I'm pretty disappointed because the car looked great otherwise. I guess somebody just slapped on a type S badge on it.

Oh well, the search continues.

not really, since it's easy to swap the tranny. checking the vin is the only way to be 100% sure.

 

Not to mention it's not easy to see if it's a 6-speed through pictures...chances are it's an aftermarket shiftknob as well.
