Default 94-97 accord suspension ??'s uca hitting

Ok so here is the deal. as some of you already know that there is some stupid flaw with the uca hitting the inner fender or shock towers. I have searched and searched for posts about correcting. so far its been try a camber kit, butterfly the tires. The car has all new energy suspsension bushings front and rear, tokico blues and H & R springs(1.75 drop). car has been aligned and good tires. now since i am a rookie with the accords(eg,ej & ek man) this makes absolutely no sense to me since i have done everything in the late 90's till the present with suspension. Lol i even cut 4 coils front & 4.5 coils rear off my factory eg springs(rookie and poor) and never had a issue besides mad camber wear. OK ill stop rambling now.
Here is my question. might sound stupid but as i was looking at the extra control arms for my friends accord with the camber kit i noticed like anything else that is identicle, that if you flip the uca upside down and swap left with right and right with left the uca's still face and fit the same way, but the location for the ball joint and the edge of the control arm is now at a lower location(guessing a inch or so) because the uca kinda of curves up. has anyone tried this technique yet? I hope my question makes sense. I think we might try my suggestion out this weekend if i can get my painting of car parts finished saturday. any helpful/unhelpful opinions is appreciated. i might be wrong but it looked like it would work.

This is a common observation on the 5th gen when dropped (that's why I don't get involved). Since I subscribed in 2004, there have been countless threads generated on this. Let me see what I can find.

A 1.75 inch drop should not cause your UCA to hit. I'm much lower than that and have 0 issues with it.

Now you will experience that issue if you have either an older ball joint camber kit with a large nut on top or the anchor style and have them correcting more than 2 degrees of camber.

Are you sure the springs you're using are for an accord application and are not too soft of a spring rate?

Thanks guys for the info. my friends is a avid accord fan. he did a bunch of research too. He bought a H&r sport kit which is the 1.75 drop. it does not look low at all but when you hits pit holes or bumps it hits the shock tower. the upper arms he took out were the ones with the adjustable camber plate and big nut.
