Civic Si Slight Jerking When Taking off Low RPM
I am having slight jerking problem during take off.
Its common during take offs from a stop but cruise speeds doesn't do it at all.
I have no clue what can be the cause but I tired another ecu and that hasn't fixed it.
This is 89 civic si. No Check engine lights at all. I changed the dizzy, spark plugs, wires. Still hasn't been fixed.
Anyone have any ideas..I think one of the sensors are messed up which I am not 100% sure. Anybody with any sights please speak up thanks

yea I was thinking injectors also, but I have changed the filter before. I have no idle problems car runs perfect passed smog in ca etc. Expect it jerks during take off from a stop..
fuel injectors are expensive I don't want to keep replacing parts..I already spent about 400 in parts new dizzy, cables, relay etc..

Maybe he needs to describe what exactly his problem is a bit better.
Are you talking about it jerking to one side? I think if that was the case he wouldn't be replacing his ignition system.
op try ur ball joints/steering rack...something seems loose and doesnt seem to be mechanical (engine wise)
the clutch is brand new so is pressure plate. jerking meaning slowly take off it will jerk like it doesn't want to go more like car is hesitant when taking off low rpm. mounts are all good I replaced them last time I did the clutch.
how would it be getting caught up like it being to loose are something and i was also thinking my car idles a lil high but not sure could be my cable
for smells and ef, do check both your cables and the idel screw.
but ef, im leaning more towards a bad engine mount, have you checked them lately?
