spend 9,000 dollars with this 2jZ swap and you can have a stock supra motor in your s2000! maybe some with some bolt ons! along with throwing the balance of the car way off. put 9,000 dollars in the S2000 and you will get a much better car.

That doesn't throw off the weight of the car as much as many people make it out to be. With that motor swapped in, the car still handles great. Add a very good aftermarket suspension and you've improved it as well. Yes the weight ratio might be altered, then again, isn't that the case if someone rides in the car with you? I mean hell, having a passenger is basically the same difference in weight, actually it's probably a bigger difference.

I don't know why people knock that motor swap. It's pretty damn neat and the motor has far more potential (number wise) than an F20C/F22C.

Anyways, contact Andre up above. He is very helpful.

What does a 2jz swapped s2k run in the 1/4.

Like just with a direct swap, not all the upgrades but just the swap.

Custom mounts.

Is this going to be a non-street driven, drag strip only car?

Both can make far more power than you can put down.

Unless you're looking for 4 digit hp numbers I don't understand the point.

I won't knock the idea...its what makes tuning great. Originality.

If you got the money go for it...be one of a few S2k's with the swap.

Check out where the shifter winds up with the 2JZ transmission. We're are you going to put your cup?
