Default Review: Spoon SW388/Azenis VS. TE37/SP8000 install on Teg

Today I got three of my Spoon rims and Azenis mounted and balanced at Whities Tire shop in brooklyn.

They did excellent work on my wheels, no scratches ...nothiung and they charged me $12.50 per wheel, mounting and balancing.

Anyhow I get home and mounted the three on. (My other spooon wheel is being sent back to UPS's damage claim office) I leave one of the volks on and go for a ride.

The first thing I notice is that now, there is like almost no clearance left between the spokes and brake calipers.

As for driving, I could sense that the tires are much more sticky, but my only complaint is that the Spoons/Azenis are heavier than my TE37/SP8000 tire combo....I n addition, the car felt a lot slower to accelerate.

As for looks, I was kinda shocked that my car looked plain and boring with back wheels, the TE37's are definately much more flashy.

Feel free to comment

Mine are the same, the spokes are very close to the calipers, but haven't caused a problem. What offset did you go with? I went with +40
