Default FS: MN 92 Civic 4-door, great winter/daily driver, $1500OBO

Sad day, but I found a truck so I need to make room. This car has been GREAT. This car is a trooper and will certainly go for a long time.

Specs:
-1992 Honda Civic LX 4-door
-282,xxx miles on it
-Power windows, locks, mirrors, everything works
-5spd manual transmission
-factory radio/tape player AND IT WORKS
-cloth interior in decent shape
-power steering works
-NO A/C, I took that out, but the heater/defrost works great!

I bought this car in september as my daily driver. It was in a pretty sad state when I bought it, with some off-key mods, and it needed some TLC. I'm a Honda lover, and put some time, effort, and money into to make it a great daily driver.

New parts in the last 3 months:
-New front windshield
-New alternator
-4 new Kumho winter tires
-14" Civic HX (alloy) wheels
-All new bushings
-New tie-rods
-New driver's side spindle
-New driver's side wheel-bearing
-New front brakes (previous owner)
-New paint
-New spark plugs
-New OE tail lights
-New OE corner lights
-OE muffler

This car starts up even in the coldest weather (these last two days the car fired right up) and has been dead reliable. The only problem was the old alternator went out on me a month or so ago, but that was an oversight by me. The car gets about 30mpg on the highway. I put $10 in gas per week and I drive 50 miles everyday to school and back. I change the oil every 3-4000 miles. Surprisingly, this Honda does not have much rust on it. Just some on the driver's quarter-panel. The car has a few little mods done to it to clean it up:

-EJ1 coupe front-end swap; fenders, front bumper, corner lights
-short-ram intake
-valve cover painted gold
-basic wire-tuck
-Matte red paint job

I really like this car and it has done very well for the short time I have owned it. I'm asking $1500 OBO for the car which is what KBB says is a "Good" value for the car, private-party. Flexible on price as I need to make room for the new truck.

thanks guys. It was -22 this morning and the car started right away. A couple of slow cranks, but it started right up! Don't be afraid to throw me some offers, there is some wiggle room on the price.

I also have some extra parts that can be negotiated for as well including some coil-over sleeves and a b18 block.

I really don't get why people take A/C out of a stock car...but whatever floats their boat.

free bump for a fellow sedan
