Default SCCA SoloII Nats--which hotel is everyone staying at?

I need to get off my butt and make a reservation! I assume most of the nicer hotels are around the same price, but has anyone found any to be less expensive than the others? Is there an official Honda-tech hotel or anything?

I'm staying at the COmfort Inn on Wannamaker; $45 a night, 3 beds. Any hotel on Wannamaker is good; that is where most folk stay if they are not staying at the Capitol (the official hotel for SCCA). What days are you going to be there? I might be looking for a roomie for some of the nights (specifically 5-8 and 12-13). The key is to ask for a weekly rate, otherwise they average $65-$75 a night.

I'l be there for STX (sun/mon/tues/wed) and I don't think I'm staying for thurs/fri runs just because of $$ and I want to get back early. Last year Brown and I stayed at the (I think) BW Candlelight Inn one exit further away.

I don't know how picky you guys are, but you can get a room at the Plaza Inn on Wannamaker for $165/week for 1 bed or $225/week for two beds. It ain't the classiest place, but damn thats cheap.

Got reservations for AmeriSuites. For the room size and price, it appeared to be a good deal.
