Is it better to use the etd racing (new version) traction bar over the innovative one...The ETD bar doesnt have the front mount as the innovative does... And the Innovative bar uses oem radius arms with bushings... Which one would be better for lower 60ft times? The innovative one looks stronger then the etd i also want a bar that is safe.... Here is a pic of the innovative bar i am talking about... and you guys know what a etd bar looks like...
i don't mean to jack your thread, but i have been wondering if a traction bar helps with cornering at all?
and dose anybody have any idea how much weight savings there are with any aftermarket traction bar set up over the stock cross member?

Ha ha ha actually I found the latest tread i seen you participated in it.. I just bought the first edition traction bar I was stuck on buying a etd latest version and this... The innovative looks more durable... Plus it uses oem radius arms and all i will do is add stiffer bushings or run some thing solid its just looks safer then the heims crap so I use this for now... I would hate to brake a heim and trash a rim under my car.... If any one has had any problems with any of these aftermarket cross members post them up i want to see what happened... Oh i also didnt find any answer to one of my questions which bar would have better 60ft and less wheel hop that is a concern to me....
with drag slicks the walls are quite soft (wrinkle wall drag slicks) so the tires themselves will give a pretty good bit and will cut out wheel hop a lot.
if you were to use drag radials it would pretty much make it worse thou (would wheel hop up then give you an extreme amount of traction = axle snappage)
just my opinion, worked on my friends 700whp 2g eclipse. ran drag radials for about 2 track events then sold them for drag slicks due to it wheel hopping and snapping an axle. after the slicks were put on never did it again.
