I hate this effing r18 motor. What motor can i swap with to get some decent power? budget isnt too much of a problem but i dont want to get rid of the car. any ideas?

build and turbo the motor in your LX. get a BW S368 turbo.

I just sold my STI to get into a Civic LX-S.
dude, if you want a better motor in your car, then buy a better car in the first place.
especially with car prices coming down so much, go buy something else.
if you just want to swap a honda then go buy an EG and have a blast w/ the simplicity of OBD1.

lol come on now tho, in an 08 a b-series... lets be realistic. there is no reason to give this guy bad info. maybe if he was in an EF or EG or EK. but really all i would recommend is 08 lx-T (turbo that bitch) or sell the nice new civic and get yourself in an older body civic and do what ever you want with it :D

Just buy another car...won't be worth it to swap in another motor at this point...

 

If you have a 06+ LX then put a K20A2 in it for like 2-3 k and run Kpro with a turbo and your looking at a fast *** 8th gen.

 

Dude, the engine that makes the MOST sense to put in (K20) already comes in the higher trimmed car...

Only a K series or an F series out of an S2000 is legal anyways, well they're the only legal series that makes more power anyways.
