Default Disadvantages to a BIG Throttle Body?

Ok so say I want better airflow. A bigger throttle body would be part of the solution correct? But I hear people running anywhere from stock to 70mm and above! So heres what I wanna know, are there any disadvantages to running an oversized TB?

Maintaining port velocity on the low end. Anytime you enlarge anything in the intake tract you're going to lower the engines efficiency to maintain vacuum. Vacuum on the low end when volume is low is a major part in low and midrange power production. That said, your post is asking for increased airflow, so answering that question specifically, no a larger TB flows more air provided all other variables are equal.
