perhaps you will get off your ***. or perhaps not. hopefully though. Did Trav relay my message to you about your car? IIRC it went something like "Tell that douche face to put together what he has and run it, worry about the class later, or the tires will never touch the ground."

I guess I could post what kind of car this is...2000 Accord Ex Sedan V6 (automatic). Most courses it can stay in D1, but this one required D2. Since 2nd gear is weak on these cars, it really hurt because I needed to let off to shift (and try to save the trans) after the first corner, and from there it would bog slightly out of the corners because it was quicker than 2 slow gear changes. I would really like this car in a manual trans, but my wallet will not.

I think the mount should be a tad bit higher.

Yeah, and a wide angle lens would help a lot, but this worked, is easy to R&R, and cost me $7.

It works I was almost keeping up with a mildly modded WRX driven by a friend of mine too.

Thanks, though after looking at my diagram I realized I left off an important part of it and I will need to update the picture. I welded a 'long nut' vertically to the bar and put in another wingnut to adjust the vertical angle of the camera, you can just barely see it in the photo.

They never said anything about the radio, though I wish I had left it off so I could hear the mad V-TECH power kicking in

I use the I/O mount on my bpillar bar. You just need it a bit higher so you can actually see the course.

weird you mention that.
the 240 was sold last tuesday, discover card paid off on thursday, friday the hatch was in the garage. I've ordered a new low-pro jack since mine puked all the oil out and is in the dumpster ... so then i can get the wheels off the ground ... and finish the brakes and start putting the engine back in.
I just DL'd the NASA CCR book so i will be educated, and dont make mistakes while building
oh and i bought new wheels too

Good good. When I get back to CR (I'm out at one of our windparks in Montana right now) I'll have to bring by the new ride, and ceck out your progress. I know you'll like it. I'll be back maybe friday, maybe next friday, your car needs to be running by then :D

Paint the metal bar, so the raw metal doesn't corrode and stain your seats.

Yeah, I did, a long time ago. I made it the day before the event so I hadn't done it yet in the pics. Now it looks real nice
