need a f22a head for my 92 accord ex..!
i need a f22a head for my 92 accord ex 5spd.. also does anyone know if a 92-95 h22a prelude engine will be a direct swap if i have a f22a engine.. or will i have to do some modifications..
The h22a is pretty much a direct swap into your accord. I planned on doing it also but found a good deal on a f23 and i needed a new motor for my car. But the h22 is the way to go and it will just drop in it. GL
Go to your local salvage yard.
An OBD I H22 can be swapped into a '90-to-'93 chassis using all the stock engine mounts. The exhaust system is a direct bolt up (aside from being painfully small) with the Prelude's downpipe and cat. Your original fuel rail will work on the H22, and you also won't need to swap the 6 and 11 pin on the ECU. If your oldie has an automatic, you'll need Part # 60831-SM4-300ZZ to mount the manual transmission. If you want to keep power steering, imagination is needed. Fixing the suspension of the car would be a great help because of how much power you would gain from the engine.
