Screeching sound when turning left only
Wondering if someone can help me diagnois a problem. When I make a left turn only, there is a loud screeching sound. It seems to be coming from the right brake. I have look at it, but haven't found anything wearing. I have taken off the brake pads, but nothing looks out of the norm. I had replace the pads about three months ago. The noise started about a month ago. When going straight, there is a faint sound, similar to the sound of when brake pads are worn. The metal wear indicator make the metalic buzzing sound. But again, the pads are only three month old. The noise changes in pitch and loudness based on how fast I'm turning, the degree I'm turning, etc.
Any advise? Could it be something else? Ball joint? CV joint? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Oh, car info... 1998 RS... dropped 2" (been dropped for many years).

my buddies del sol did the same thing but it was when turning right...it turned out to be the passenger side lower ball joint was not pressed in completely and broke. somehow there was enough clearance between the lower control arm and rotor but the dust shield was pinned in between the lower control arm and the rotor. check your ball joints and since you just replaced the pads check to see if that dust shield is bent and rubbing on the rotor. hope this helps.
