I recently cleaned the egr ports about a 2 weeks ago, and this moring wen warming up the car i could smell gas Not in the cabin but in the fuel injector/rail area, im getting good gas milage. i also had and injector kinda sideways not straight like the others.

 

You may have cut one of the injector "O Ring seals putting it back in.
The one that's "Kinda Sideways" sounds like a viable candidate. They're supposed to be "Kinda Straight".
