89 CRX Sunroof Repair???

Default 89 CRX Sunroof Repair???
Hi, I’m sure this had been asked before, but I searched relentlessly without success. I have a 1989 Honda CRX SI with a rusted sunroof; does anybody have any suggestion on how to repair it? Should I just try to grind out all the rust and apply fiberglass patches or replace the whole thing? Thanks

Just to let people know, I did look in the CRX & Civic FAQ Version 2.0, and the thread won’t come up….

buy a carbon fiber one on ebay there nice. just paint it if you want it to look origional.

agree carbon fiber. or replacement, anything but the rust, they look like crap once they start.
