Default Passenger mirror for coupe (power) same for 01-05?

I accidentally broke my mom's passenger side mirror while backing out of the garage so I need to replace it, I think her car is an 05 Civic Si (Canadian Si so not a real Si) coupe, can I just get any power mirror for this year?

How hard is it to replace?

Thanks!

you can use any power mirror from a 2001-2005 2dr but keep in mind that the Si mirror is painted and has the heated feature. if you use the mirror from an lx, you'll lose the heater...

as for replacing, it's not hard but you need to remove the tweeter pod and door panel to get at the powered mirror.

Thanks, I don't think it had the heated feature before but if it did I don't mind losing it.

I've glanced at the repair manual and it says that you just have to remove the panel on the other side of the mirror; it didn't say anything about removing the entire door panel

my canadian si has heated power mirrors...

as for the installation, pop teh tweeter off and see how many screws you have access to...i believe it's 3 nuts to remove the mirror..i think the lower ones are obstructed by the door panel

ya there is 3 bolts...I think 10mm..not hard at all..its a lot easier to just take the whole door panel off..than that is easy to do...couple screws here and there...very easy fix

Sounds good, I'm going to order a power (non-heated) one and get it painted the color I need and try the install.

thanks for the tips!
