Default Question about size wheels fitment

Do you think that a ( Enkei RPF1 ) 17x9 offset +35 can fit without problem on a 94 Prelude H22 ? And also what tyre do you recommend ?

Thanks

pretty positive you are going to have a lot of problems with those rims...those are huge AND with a low offset...

as for tires..

I saw that car with 17x8 +35 215-40-17 and it seems to be ok, but in 17x9 i don't know if it fit with any problem or not. Also, i dont know if the 4ws can make a trouble too with 17x9 +35..if somedy have some information it will be nice, thanks

I run 17x8.5 (+40mm) Enkei RPF1s with 225/40/17 Hoosier race tires on my track car (98 Prelude). The fronts fit fine, the rears require quite a bit of rolling to fit. The 225/40/17 Hoosiers fit fine on the 8.5s, but they run wider than a "normal" 225 (Hoosiers tend to run wider than street tires). I'm planning run 245/40/17s on the front in the near future, but that will require fender modifications to the front. No way would they fit on the rear without some serious fender and bumper mods.

Keep in mind I also run very high spring rates (currently 750 lb/in front and 950 lb/in rear) on Koni race shocks that keep the suspension from compressing as much as it would on a street car. I also run quite a bit of negative camber (-3 front and -1.75 rear) which gives me more fender clearance.

I don't see a 17x9 +35 fitting well with a wide tire.
