Default Review: Megan Racing Rear Lower Control Arms

Part or Product:
Megan Racing Rear Lower Control Arms
MR-CA-Ai94 - 94-01 Integra (will fit 90-93s with no issues)

From Megan's web site:
LCA s are an essential part to your car s suspension. When lowering your car your wheels will start to butterfly inward at the top which makes your tires ride on the edge. This increases wear on your tires as the sidewalls are the weakest part of your tire. This also means that there is less tire on the ground which means loss of traction around turns. LCA s reduce camber so that more of your tire touches the ground, keep your tires from rubbing your fender and allow for a wider wheel and tire combination. These LCA s provide light-weight performance with an enhanced appearance to your suspension. These arms are available in Red and Blue finish.
Vehicle Used:

Installed these on my 93 Integra.

Rating:

3/5

Overall Thoughts:

I bought these because I need new rear LCAs for my suspension swap. They were cheap and in stock so that's half the reason I went with them. Over all they are not a bad arm, a bit lighter then stock. Bushings are replaceable, locked in place with a flush fitting allen screw. The only down side to these arms is that the sway bar will not bolt up. You will need longer bolts and washers to space/shim it out. This is the only down fall to these arms as of right now.

When I'm working on the car tomorrow I will get pictures of the arms and how I reconnected the sway bar.

IMHO any LCA that does not have the sway bar hole in the correct location is junk. It says that the manufacturer is lazy and doesn't care to R&D their product.

<-- sticking to properly-fitting OEM LCA's.

Agreed but I needed them with my suspension swap. F7s line up correctly and I will be buying them in the spring.

What I had to do to bolt my sway bar back up again. It's ghetto but it works.

Holy washers Batman. I see what you had to do to make them work, but you would think that companys would do the R&D to make them work correctly!!!!

BTW this isn't ment to be a flame at you bro!!!

holy nuts man, that looks like it would snap in a second! If it doesn't, it could very well start to twist the LCA's.

Yea, not the perfect set up but it will tie me over till spring time and I get F7 arms and install them.

To anyone thinking, don't bother with Megan arms.
