Would the S-03's last longer than the azenis under equal conditions?

I can't compare but everyone says s-03's wear fast when driven hard. Azenis will probably last you longer.

hmmm mixed responses.

 

i've had it for almost 13k miles, and one auto-x event. still looking good. it hasn't skidded in the rain yet , and the dealer didn't say anything on my 30k service.
pro'lly good for another few thousand miles.

 

Considering that people have reported anywhere from 7K to 25K miles with street-only usage on the RE010, I wouldn't make any final decisions based on any one figure someone gives you, unless that particular person has tried both tires.

 

Mixed responses don't surprise me. Tire wear is going to be a factor of driving habits, abuse, and even car setup.

I have not had the Azenis', but in the time that I've had my S-03's my friend has gone through one set of Azenis' and is on his second set. My S-03s have stood up to abuse very well also, having been through a few autocrosses and a track day. Of sourse the last autocross I went to there was anoher Type R there with new S-03s and they wore completely different than mine. We were talking after the autocross and came to the conclusion it may have been do to overinflation.

 

I have both Azenis and S-03's. The S-03's are what I use for daily driving and they are holding up very, very well. As for the Azenis, I only use them when I'm on the track or feel like ******* around. But with all this rain and crap latley, the S-03's handle the standing water 10x better so I'm sticking with thouse.
