Default bracing GSR

what is the purpose of the bracing under the rear seats of a 3rd gen gsr? thanks

The three pieces you speak of add rigidity to the chassis. I do not know by how much or anything, but the early DC tegs lacked this set up.

yea its those three pieces. i thinking of removing them all except for the one that supports the rear seats. if someones knows how much of a difference does it make?

The support under the rear seat does 2 things:

1) Improve side impact protection. It braces the B pillar.
2) Improve rear seat support. Its also known as the "fat chick" bar, since it helps prevent "American sized people" from bending the thin sheet metal under the rear seat.

Benefit #1 is a very good reason to leave it in place.

i was just looking to remove one. the one that is above where the wires go into the fuel cell. i was planing on doing this to see if i get more clearence for my audio setup.

The bracing more towards the rear covers the ABS wires if I am not mistaken. You could remove those without much issue I would think. Good luck!
