SANDING OFF THE PUTTY TOMORROW I PAINT



I MOVED THE BOLT BRAKETS FOR THE LICENSE PLATES DOWN HERE
ALLOT OF SKILL AND PATIENCE REQUIRED BUT IT CAN BE DONE.

FOR THE ONES THAT ASK WHY?
WELL I WANTED A DIFFERENCE LOOK I ALREADY INSTALLED THE GLASS TOP AND ALL OTHER GOODIES BUT WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT, I GOT THE IDEA FRONT HE SPL9 FRONT BUMPER.

 

So you did this to use the clear bumper lights?

 

yeah that is where it will stand out from the other crx's the amber lights have a different shape also. I plan to maybe paint them yellow like the very rare edm bumper lights.

 

That is "not" an EE8 bumper, i have the real thing, notice the extra vent area up top

By the way that is not a real edm bumper! The real one are yellow, japan also provide the bumper the uk but there was only one version with yellow bumper lights. There is nothing different your bumper from the jdm one

 

Then why post the thread as an EE8 or JDM bumper? The real one looks a fair bit different being 2" longer plus has the extra vent area.
It doesn't look like the jdm bumper.....just the signals

Mine is from an EF8, the jdm spec model, i know the that Europe calls their VT model the EE8

 

Oh so you made a mold of your OEM US market bumper, then just made the lights fit?

 

damm, look again! Get it look again! It is contradicting to place ee8 and jdm in the same sentence...hence look again...

 

yeah i used an si bumper and casted the mold from an ef9 bumper and made the cuts and retrofited the bumper

all right guys, maybe the title is a little confusing but later in the thread he did specify what he did. can it be dropped now??? can everyone get over the title?

 

it makes total sense. he said "look again!!!!" plus why hate on someone who is going original without whack bodykits. people who hate are the ones who fail at everything.
