Icon2 1996 Honda Accord-Driver Window is Slow

Hey there, Lately I noticed the drivers window has been going extremely slow. I bought Silicon Lubricant Spray to spray the tracks, and nothing happened.

It might be the motor though, because when I roll the window down the circuit breaker goes and the window stops moving, and I have to wait a few seconds before I roll it down some more.

Any Ideas? Thanks!

Lubricating it may not work if the tracks are too tight. It could be a regulator problem or a cable drive if you have cable drive, then of course it could be the motor as you mentioned. It could be a weak ground wire connection or a frayed power wire. It could be a bad power switch. Where is the circuit breaker, it could be old and cannot handle the actual amount of power being consumed such as a 30 amp breaker opening at only 10 amps. Do you have a schematic, do you know how to do a Voltage Drop test?

The window has been tilting in the window tracks, and the window guide channels have finally bent out of adjustment enough that it's now binding.
The normal drill is to replace the lower two window guide channels (steel) and the window run (felt) that the window slides in and properly align everything again.

The driver's door glass is the most common to fail. not because it's used the most, but because when it's open; it's the one that catches all the dust and crap that accumulates in the channel run.
