MY F22A1 won't stay running for more than about 15 minutes at idle. If you hold it about 2 - 3000 RPM it'll die in about 5-6 min. What could cause it do shut off on its own after a few min? Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to start after it shuts off. Any Info, Tips, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.


Things I've done so far changed the distributer, ignition coil, spark plugs, wires, fuel pump, main relay, cleaned the fuel injectors and tested the Idle Air Control Valve.

 

recheck the spark plugs evrytime u start it...if your spark plug o-rings are gone oil can get in and prevent spark...happens on the ef i have right now

 

Thanks for the info but I just put brand new NGK's in on Friday and I verified spark on every cylinder. I appreciate the feedback, thanks!
