Recently Bought a 1990 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. Love this car already.

I work at a Chrysler dealership but fell in love with the hatchback hondas.

This is my first car and slowly going to be putting work into. Especially since these things ahve very good potential.





Havent done anything to it yet cept fix the seat adjuster cable lol.

Gotta replace just the axles valve cover hasket brakes and oil pan gasket and itll be like new.

ditch them god awful taillights, then i'd consider gettin an exhaust that doesn't hang so low to the ground, and also losing them hubcaps lol.

The hubcaps aint bad, but spraypaint the steelies under them black, it'll make the cap stand out more. That and get rid of the taillights. Hit your local honda store (junkyard) and look into a obd1 conversion and mpfi. You'll get there eventually.

 

i have the stock tail lights and the exhaust and hubs cam with the car when i bought em. the hub caps look really good with the car from a distance. and when ur moving you could easily mistaken em for civic si wheels lol

but like i said things will be pieced together. i got my priorities for it first and its the maintenance

after that im getting a radio (no not big speakers a sub or anything)

then im deciding either to change the tail lights before or after i repaint it.

it doesnt look bad in person. i wanted the stock ones put on but once i went in person to buy it. it really looked nice.

 

Taillights are awful, you should put the stock ones in before paint. Paint the steelies.

Speaker trays with speakers!(Have speaker covers on the way for em)

Is there a way to put something to cover those holes in the back cover?

Was thinking of cutting a big piece of black plastic and just lay it in the tray for a perfect fit or something. Lemme know what you guys have in mind.

In the trunk is Stock tail lights and YES they are getting put back on lol
A spare washer bottle just in case
