Default proportioning valve

I just picked up a DA 4040 valve, so i was told. How can i identify to make sure this is the correct valve?

Also what should i use on all the brake line nuts that go into it? Never seize?

It should say "4040" on it(technically it's not 40/40).

You shouldn't use teflon tape on the fittings but there are adhesives that would work fine.

I guess so; I don't see the problem since the sealing comes mainly from the flaring.

Good. The 4040 is the correct valve for a Nissin 17CL14VN front and 7CLP13S rear caliper combo.

You could try a very small amount of anti seize compound on the fitting threads but it's not really necessary. Just make sure to use a flare nut wrench on the fittings so that you don't strip them.

Yup 4040 right on it. I am needing EX front knuckles, I got DA ones at the moment w/ rex Si rears. The setup is great. Rear Disc FTMW.

You should not have used any Integra control arms.

If you did, replace them with your original arms. Especially the UCAs and compensator arms.
