okay, im Eric! i own a 94 prelude vtec. The car just hit 180K the motor which i installed has 55K

Been driving for 2 years and 40K miles with no major issues. Very happy with my frist honda.

BUT..

The car is pissing me off for the time being. As stated in Title, the car is hitting rev limit at 6500 and wont engage vtec. I pulled the codes and nothing new from what has been there since motor install.

since i have NO 02 or knock. Egr, not sure what its problem is, but shouldnt be able to make these issues.

Car always hit vtec HARD! just the last 2-4 days nothing. Up to 5K car feels almost perfect. Maybe a little sluggish but not bad. then when vtec SHOULD hit, it just drags out to 6500 and limits out.

Checked all wiring, and grounds
Checked Vtec silionid (sp) clicked fine
Checked screen, clear as wistle.

Any ideas? been searching for a couple days, finally broke down to post.
