ok i asked this in the wrong section earlier and got flamed for it. i have a 98 ex with polished rota j mags and i like the rims but they attract to much attention to my car where i live and i was thinking about getting them professionally painted eathier gloss or flat black but i wanted to see what you guys thought about it first ? thanks

 

Do it. It's not a tattoo, it's just a set of Rotas. Just make sure you're getting the color you really want.

Sounds like you've got all your own reasons to change the color of your wheels, so just go ahead and see how it goes.

 

its your wheels man, Honda-Tech should never dictate the pase of your mods.. its a good place for opinion but thats just what they are personal opinions.. you seem to have good enough reason to want a color change to them so DO IT!! like the other guy said, make sure you getting what you paid for, if you dont like how they turn out you can always just change the color..

 

yea the reason im asking is cause ive been sitting on this decision for like a month now and couldent make up my mind if i wanted to change them i just dident know how the black car with the black wheels the 50/50 tail lights and tint would all look together

a ton of the 32-34 GTR guys on the British forums run Rotas and everyone loves them. the whole anti-rota movement is just a honda-tech way of "fitting in"

 

everyone hates on rotas, but they are still good wheels imo

I rock the black on black look. Rob and Big weren't the first to do it, and I think it looks good.
