Default mini me in a ef?

hey i want to get more from my lil car so came upon the mini me what would be the best way to go about doint this l**** what head to use what year of car to take from ect

You could probably go turbo for less money and much better results (ie. more power).

Just sayin'.

depends on what all you plan to do. if keeping it all motor then i think the d16a6 block is the best. if you are staying obd0 then use the Y8 head. using the Y8 head allows you to bolt up a crx si distributor and all bolt holes line up.

if you want to go obd1 then use the z6 head and distributor. from what other people have said the z6 head flows better than the y8 head. on either setup i would use the y8 intake manifold. probably the best oem intake manifold for the d series. then just get a b series throttle body and your pretty good to go.

now that's not including wiring and other misc tech that you need to know in order to make this work but, you asked for the best head/block combo and that is what i think would be.
