B18C5 for sale - 2000 Acura Integra Type-R
Selling the B18C5 from my 2000 ITR.
My ITR was stolen in November, and less than a week later, the engine (only) was recovered.
I purchased the car in late 2003 with ~80,000 miles on it (second owner). The car was stock except for a Mugen thermostat the first owner installed.
In the end, the car had just under 100,000 miles. No accidents, PM or e-mail for a VIN.
Asking price for the motor is $3,500.
The attached pictures show exactly what is for sale.
I am located in Diamond Bar, CA. If you're interested, feel free to contact me and arrange an inspection. PM or e-mail for details.
---Also, please post here first before e-mailing, I won't respond to those who don't.

When they called to inform me that the engine was recovered, they didn't go into any specific details about it. I just went to the impound and took it home.
I assume they identified it using the number underneath the engine code? I can't imagine that a mistake could have been made in identifying the owner of the motor.

What you see in the pictures is what the police recovered in the raid. I heard nothing about the shell until some towing company, who supposedly "found" it, sent me a letter in late December, trying to charge me for storage and towing costs.
The scumbags actually waited until just before Christmas to actually mail a letter so they could pile on a few more days of storage fees. No phone calls were made.
