Your Accord doesn't have a rear differential.

The machine that I am aware of is supplied by BG products. It is either leased or bought outright by auto repair shops.
It will get ALL the old transmission fluid out!
Some purists insist on the time honored multi fluid change proceedure, which I support for normal interval maintaince. But if the tranny is suffering some shifting or other issue, I'll often flush

Yea, I work at Jiffy Lube and it's a T-Tech, Its not really a good Idea for Honda Cars, becasue it flushes fluid through the internal filter and can move it out of place and cause damage. They Also offer a transmission Drain and Fill which is what you would want to do, but just tell them not to flush trans fluid through when they remove the drain plug.

speaking from experience from someone who is a honda technician...only drain and fill. No flushing with a honda tranny needed.

Stop taking your car to Jiffy Lube.

They never change the drain plug crush washers and often strip out the threads in the oil pan. They also like to recommend unnecessary services, use incorrect fluids, and overcharge you for a half-assed job.

A shop that services every make won't know all the ins and outs of your particular car, and a shop that promises a fast job usually won't take the time to do it right.

Go to a Honda specialist. Try an independent shop if your dealership is too expensive or difficult to deal with.

And as for automatic transmission service, just drain and fill with Honda ATF-Z1 every 20,000-30,000 miles.

seriously you would be surprised that about 8 out of 10 cars that come into the dealership that have a quick lube or jiffylube sticker in their windshield the drain plug is stripped and the threads either on the plug or the threads in the oil pan are screwed up.....lol and several cases where their filter is leaking cause its a POS

These guys are scam artists. Big time! In a recession, now more than ever, they try to up sell services you do not need. There's material from a local NBC affiliate on Youtube that's more than 4 years old about Jiffy Lubes in Southern California not replacing oil filters and fuel filters, but charging for it. They recommended d-tech machine auto transmission flushes which are a big time no-no from Honda Motor Corporation.

Mechanics got fired and so did the district manager who denied his own identity when the cameras were rolling.

I just had my 2001 manual transmission flushed at Honda 3 weeks ago. It was $69.00. It was cheaper then taking it to local Jiffy Lube type shops. I was also told by a number of shops that Honda uses a special fluid (probably synthetic) and for that reason they couldn't/wouldn't do it.
