a buddie of mine was looking for a a y7 that originally came in his civic and he came across a d15b7 out of a crx what all would he have to change if this engine is compatiable in his car since its obd2 and the motor is obd0 i think i need info and help asap

its illegal to run a motor older than the car, it'll work though

 

yeah well we dont have inspections here so what all will need to be changed to operate

 

D15B7 is an OBD1 engine, not OBD0. Came in 92-95 Civics.

 

obd2 to obd1 jumper harness, use the d15b7 ecu
